KTouch - Free Touch Typing Tutor (KDE - The K Desktop Environment)
KTouch is FREE and offers you an easy way to learn to type quickly and correctly on a keyboard. KTouch indicates the keys you need to press and the finger you need to use for that key on the screen. You don't have to look down on the keyboard to search for the key.
KTouch typing features:
supports various keyboard layouts and you can easily add own keyboard layouts
A number of training lectures are included by default (english, german, french ... etc)
You can add and modify training lectures using the built-in lecture editor
Detailed training statistics help you to find possible typing problems (keys that you typed wrong very often)
The program calculates typing speed and your accuracy on-the-fly and displays them while you type
Many settings (including the colour scheme of the program) can be modified by the user
During training the level can be adjusted automatically according to your typing skill: if you type fast and correctly you will move a level up, otherwise stay in the level or even move down. So you will learn touch typing like playing a game.

TuxTyping (Educational Typing Tutor Game for Kids)
TuxTyping is an educational typing tutor for kids starring Tux, the Linux penguin. This educational game comes with two different games for practicing your typing, and having a great time doing it. Tux Typing 1.8.0 includes the first public rlease of the new word list editor from GSoC 2009 - it is now possible to create custom word lists from with Tux Typing itself.

Klavaro Touch Typing Tutor (with many Languages)
Klavaro is just another free touch typing tutor program. We felt like to do it because we became frustrated with the other options, which relied mostly on some few specific keyboards. Klavaro intends to be keyboard and language independent, saving memory and time
